Something that came up in discussions over lockdown was using virtual sets instead of practical sets to allow social distancing on set, reduce costs and allow use of locations that might be unavalable while giving cast and crew the same real-time on set experiance to let them maximise their performance.
We’ve being delivering virtual sets that for TV sports, new and chat shows for a while, but we’ve been working with Avid on how we could apply this to live feature production and have prepared a short live presentation to run through what is possible, particularly targeted to NZ productions. Please register and join us for this live event next Tuesday at 2pm NZST.
